You are not what happened to you. You are what you choose to become

Rising from rock bottom rewires you.

You become walking scar tissue
- forever marked by what almost killed you, but more importantly
a living manifestation of your ability to survive what really shouldn't have been survivable.

Coming out the other end forces everything into a brutally clear perspective.
Fear loses its grip, and so does any desperate need to be understood, validated, or approved of by others.
Once you've had to fight to survive your own destruction, other people's opinions of you become trivial
- insignificant, really. Any external judgment or malice simply loses its teeth when life has shown you so much worse.
Battles you had to endure alone. - Through it all, you develop a valuable sense of resilience and independence
that allows you to live authentically, and to steadily navigate life on your own.

True, raw pain and despair give you perspectives you can never unsee, and this ends up becoming your very strength.
Almost like a rebirth, it sets you free... leaving you focused on what truly matters in life.

In the end, you discover the deepest sense of gratitude
- not for the pain itself, but for the strength and clarity it gave you.
