You are not what happened to you. You are what you choose to become

Rising from rock bottom rewires you.

You become walking scar tissue
- forever marked by what almost killed you, but more importantly
a living manifestation of your ability to survive what really shouldn't have been survivable.

Coming out the other end forces everything into a brutally clear perspective.
Fear loses its grip, and so does any desperate need to be understood, validated, or approved of by others.
Once you've had to fight to survive your own destruction, other people's opinions of you become trivial - insignificant, really.
Any external judgment or malice simply loses its teeth when life has shown you so much worse
- battles you had to endure alone. Through it all, you develop a valuable sense of resilience
and independence that allows you to live authentically, and to steadily navigate life on your own.

True, raw pain and despair give you perspectives you can never unsee, and this ends up becoming your very strength.
Almost like a rebirth, it sets you free... leaving you focused on what truly matters in life.

And in the end, you discover the deepest sense of gratitude
- not for the pain itself, but for the strength and clarity it gave you.

Grab life by the balls

Honestly, we make shit so damn boring by worrying too much about what others think of us...

By letting the fear of judgement win and choosing polished facades over being real people,

with real lives and real stories, so much valuable nuances is lost. It all just becomes so one-dimensional.
Like books with only pretty covers. - But then they aren't really books anymore, are they?
What is a human being without all its natural layers?

Personally I will take real, weird and «too much» over «perfect» and boring every damn day.
Authenticity is the most beautiful thing in the world, and we can never get enough of it
- especially in this day in age with all the carefully calculated «instagram perfection»
and excessive politically correctness blooming everywhere.

So many tend to forget that perfection is only an illusion - but deep down we all know it...
So who are we really kidding?

Hard truth is we have more than enough time to be boring one-dimensional fucks when we're dead.
Death is non-negotiable and permanent. Life is only temporary freedom.

As of now you still have the opportunity to choose you, and fully do you - for you.

Do it!
The rest will align.
